According to EC Regulation 1360/2002, Annex 1B is specified:
- That the DTCO must back up the data stored for one year after disconnection from external supply
- Due to these legal requirements these batteries change cycles are specified
- Due to its discharge characteristics, the condition of the lithium battery used in the DTCO cannot be judged by measuring
Replacement intervals and instructions must be strictly kept to and observed:
- According to §57b at each periodic inspection
- When the DTCO is installed, activated or initially calibrated if the production date is earlier than 12 months ago
- For devices from stock whose production date is older than 24 months ago
- Temperature effects and the frequency and duration of disconnection from the external supply voltage significantly reduce the life of backup batteries
- Inkl. sticker for battery replacement
